Everything is going well- perfect, even- until someone makes a mistake. It starts out small, but everything the protagonist does to hide the mistake and fix it just makes things worse! Eventually one of two things happens:
- The protagonist manages to cover their mistake and fix everything. If this happens, it’s possible that the very end of the movie will show that there’s still one more thing that the protagonist is unaware of that never got fixed.
- It all falls apart. If that happens, the protagonist might end up losing everything, or the people around him may forgive him and/or help him.
